I’d like to trust the dance of birds. Maybe their gestures are reminders that a green season will follow this one.
I’d love to understand what all the fluttering means. Sometimes it looks like pure high spirits.
Me, too, I’d like to know. I mean, we say it’s for food and mating. But why not simply joy?
You just have to look at the way animals mess about together, or steal objects to play with, to know that one of their aims in life is to have fun.
