Having faith

For dverse, another excuse to listen to the new Abba songs.

They said they were stuck in a groove
predictable, kitsch,

those times were past,
like youth, a place of memories.

They said they’d never have it in them,
but they showed us we remain

the children we once were,
and our music never dies

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. So beautiful and hopeful! You bring some great thoughts in this piece and renewed my own hope that the child inside is still there, it’s hard to find it in the roots but oh, music can bring it out along with memories. Love this, Jane.
