Haiku: Fresh & Wind

This traiku is in response to Ronovan’s weekly prompt

Wind_(Khlebnikova)

Fresh wind from the sea

laden with salt and merdreams

blusters through cobwebs.

Wind calls, brisk spring-voiced

full of new chicks’ flutterings

proud parents’ singing.

Listen to the wind

playing music in new leaves

vying with birdsong.

Desire reaches out

plucks the rose that bears a thorn

blood specks white petals.

Will I take the rose

watch its fragile petals fall

the bee search in vain?

You with avid eyes

will you forgive the wounding

or will the thorn stay?
