Oops! Thanks for pointing that out. That’s the link for the painting. It’s hard to say why Tide and Flesh seem so uncoordinated, but it’s a combination that works with a bit of thought 🙂
The last line is so provocative, tactile. Almost (thankfully) can smell it.
There’s nothing like the smell of the sea, is there? Salt, decomposing seaweed and rotting fish.
The romance of the sea is not always what one wants. 🙂
