Three line tales: One day

This is the photo for Sonya’s three line tales prompt. If you’d like to join in, post your interpretation on Sonya’s blog.

Rain, wind-caught, runs in silvery trails down the window that looks out onto the railway line.

She watches the trains go by, six times a day in each direction, never stopping, like the rain.

One day, a train will stop, he will get out in the rain, smile, and she will run across the tracks to join him.
