A bit early – but I think all of us are looking forward to Spring. 🙂
Thanks Russell 🙂 I know I am.
Lovely poem, and an even lovelier thought. I noticed buds on a tree (perhaps it was more of a bush) at my daughter’s house yesterday. I was surprised.
Strange. Your weather hasn’t been particularly clement, has it? The things that never seem to stop (like the roses) have new shoots on them, but most plants should still be dormant.
We did have several warm days recently.
I think perhaps it is something like a pussy willow that blooms early in the spring?
Could be. Their buds are pretty tough.
Lovely picture to go with you haiku. I was going to put out a few Spring plants but decided not to, since freezing rain and snow are forecast again here this week.
Thanks Pat! I was hoping the cold was over. Maybe it will stay over your side, respect the frontiers and all that 🙂
