This is a painting that’s odd if you don’t know anything about it, so I’m not going to give anything away. I like it for itself, and I’m sure it will suggest some dream-like writing.

Good! I really like this painting. It gives me a slight feeling of vertigo.
Are you not going to mention the Painter’s name? Hope will be able to write something for this, this week also…
No, because you’ll look it up and find out the title of the painting. Best to write with no preconceived ideas. I’ll give the details next week with the new prompt.
okay…hmm…thanks for the challenge Jane…
Your painting prompt gave me the words for the poem I was writing…in case the pingback doesn’t work here’s the link…

Hmm. Something’s bubbling up…This is my first time considering one of your challenges – are there any other constraints? Word count? Does “micro-fiction” have a generally accepted definition?
It’s a very free and easy challenge. No rules, just write what you want. Generally microfiction is less than 500 words, but there’s no hard and fast limit. Let it bubble ๐
Thank Jane! = )
Lovely painting Jane. A little poem for you

Great image Jane..

Thanks Michael ๐ I fished a comment of yours out of spam yesterday but I don’t know where it went. I think you must have to reply to it before clicking on the ‘not spam’ button because it disappears and I can never remember which post it was attached to. Sorry about that.
You are the second person today to say that….WP must think I’m a dodgy character in some way…lol
WP works in mysterious ways, and most of them cranky ๐
I love the image, Jane, and started to write prose but it turned into a poem!

Another villanelle! Is it the picture? Or the time of year? Or just chance?

It’s probably best not to.
Here’s my little story. Lovely painting!

It’s a good painting. Made me feel quite sea sick ๐
I worked a response into my Monday Morning Musings. It was going to be a story, but I didn’t get to it, but I couldn’t let it go either. ๐ Now I can go back and read yours and the others today.
