I asked the stars if only they would stay
when next the day awakes and fades the night
into the dawn, a paler shade of grey.

Beautiful, Jane!
Thank you!
Beautiful, Jane. So each part follows from the previous?
Weirdly again–we both wrote of dawn and stars today. 🙂
I imagine if you start off to write a poem in terza rima it should follow the sense as well as the rhyme, but I’m just going to follow the rhyme pattern. The idea of a poem 30 stanzas long is…epic!
It seemed that way to me, too, but I wasn’t sure what you intended. 🙂
🙂
Very nice. Day two for young coming along nicely.
I’ll read it 🙂
Love it! You always find useful words. Thank you for sharing, and have a great week ahead. Michael
Have a wonderful week 🙂
Thank you Jane! 🙂

The stars are good companions. Would they be as magical in the day? An interesting idea. (K)
Probably surplus to requirements.
