Jane, you skipped spring.
That’s today. Then we get winter back. Spring is treacherous.
So I’ve seen.
As soon as it’s here it’s gone.
It’s here now. The snow’s melting. I expect to see the first snowdrops.
Deceptive. No snow, bright sunshine, wasps around the window and birds singing spring songs. Then we have ten days of cold again.
Same here, without birds singing.
They’ll be singing on the other side of their feathery faces in a few days time.
