There are about 20 on a drain a little distance away. We saw them last year and I’m wondering if they’ve got some babies now.

I think only the English monarch is allowed to eat them in the UK.
Really? He could eat the Queen’s dogs too, or the famous breakfast meat. 😉
I think you mean luncheon meat. That could be made form dog, certainly not any meat I have ever eaten!
