How full the sky

How much splendour can the sky hold beneath its dome?

Frosted light glass-pure and pale pours from the crucible
of cold fire filtered through unburnable branches.

This is what wakes the sluggish blood the fleeting traces
of warm life running to shrug off the chill the shaking
of feathers, this beauty that has no end.

  1. So beautiful. I wrote about beauty today too, how mother earth grounds and blesses us. Such beautiful photos, too.
