So blue the morning
rises from the frost

dark the water
beneath the ice

still the world
behind cold glass

January morning

  1. This is so uncanny (but not) ๐Ÿ˜€–that I’m just seeing this post from you, and I wrote about blue today, too.
Your poem is lovely–I feel that stillness–and the photo is beautiful.

    1. When I saw your poem, it honestly didn’t occur to me to wonder. It was just Merril writing about the Blue we were both supposed to write about.
Your blue photos are so lovely, I thought I’d try to capture a bit of my blue too ๐Ÿ™‚
