Haiku challenge: Time & Movement II

Another attempt at a tanka for Ronovan’s challenge. Maybe closer to the real thing.

 

I count the days

watch the movement of the clouds

blown by the wind

the yellowing of the leaves

another year slips by

      1. Is stonker another Yorkshire word? It’s great.
        When spring moves to summer, the days get longer and there are more birds singing, so that makes me happy, though I understand what you mean about any change.
