Haiku: equality

Last poem before I fall asleep. For Frank Tassone’s weekly haikai challenge.

birds flock flock flies all

in tune in wing together—

sky-full of beauty.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. True equality, I think is when there is no distinction made between any of us. No discrimination positive or otherwise. ‘From each according to his ability’ is an excellent precept in my opinion.

    1. It’s as though they have a form of silent and instantaneous communication. They sheer to the right, then the left, wheel back, dip down, all together, without a fuss, without half of them refusing to take the same route as the others. We could learn a lot from them.

  1. By the way, there is a persiflage to the statement “one for all, all for one”, because in Germany this often was missunderstood.
Here the song by German punk rock group Die Toten Hosen, “10 Kleine Jägermeister”.

The song meets your thoughts about the hunters, too. ***lol***
    Best wishes, Michael

    1. I’ll check the link. You’ve taught me a new word in English! I thought persiflage was only French. Now I’ll use it with impunity 🙂 Let’s see how my German shapes up. Does that mean, Ten Little Huntsmen by the Dead Trousers?

      1. 🙂 The word was also new to mee, too. It seems the Britains had stolen. ***lol*** Yes, you German is well. The lyrics counting down the huntsmen got lost during shooting. Its a metaphor to the politic business, too.

      2. Persiflage goes on a lot in French politics. I bet there aren’t many British politicians who know that that’s what they are doing 🙂 I like the visuals in the clip. The singer reminds me a bit of Shane McGowan of the Pogues.

      3. Lets hope. Yesterday i read on Stevie’s blog (steviet3.wordpress.com, in Britain they fear not to have enough medicaments after Brexit. What they are doing???? YES, the visuals are great. They comparing voices i have to look for. Shane McGowan is a new name to me.

      4. Just look for the Pogues. Any song will do 🙂 The Brits have only got themselves to blame. It was a stupid thing to do but if they had another referendum, the polls say they’d still vote to leave.

      5. Surely, but you will see soon, the EU will get down, if our German candidate Manfred Weber (EVP) will become president of the commisson. The Bavarian officials have as former expelled from the former eastern german territories much hatress against the CZ and Poland. You will see, they all will leave t he EU till 2025. ;-(

      6. Since Wilhelm II. had to leave to Belgium, they had a change to learn. But they dont, and will not do. So in my view the actual actions against the German Automotive industry are powered by this.

      7. But the problem (for our Germans) was, Poland, the Czechs and a lot of other states more got notice about this “idea” in 2013. Just before Pope BXVI. left the Holy Seat. 🙂

      8. Not as much, as i should.
I totally agree with you on that, Jane! Who needed the Catholic Church? 😉 The nobles to justify their power (Pope Gelasius I, Theory of the Two Swords). 😉 Were are the nobles now, better than ever? Germany, (Prussian Cultural Property), and Bavaria (Wittelsbacher – descendants of Ludwig II).

      9. Princes of the Church. The place younger sons went to wield the same power as their older brothers. When did it pretend to be any different? Must have been reasonably recently.

      10. Is there no ongoing pedophilia investigation in the German Church? That tends to flush out the hypocrites and set people thinking more sensibly about the whole set up the Church.

      11. The officials (church and state) are covering up. As things happened inside institutions like “Regensburger Domspatzen” we should also think on the Napola system of the Nazis. Anything is possible. ;-( Many former abused are in state offices too. Personally broken you can use them forever you want.
